I photographed a wedding at The Crown Inn at Pishill, Oxfordshire (near Henley-on-Thames) recently and it has become a new favourite venue for small, intimate weddings. It’s closed to the public when hired for a wedding, so the inn and the attached (absolutely beautiful) barn are available for use.
The outside seating is surrounded by pretty flower beds which make the perfect backdrop for photos, along with the flint and thatch barn. There are wooded gardens around the back too, so there are plenty of options for bride and groom portraits.
Sarah-Jane looked stunning when she married Oliver there a few weeks ago. I adored her dress which was perfect for her and the venue. Fuschia Blooms had done an incredible job with the flowers and every detail looked amazing.
I consider myself extremely lucky and honoured to be called upon to photograph such a wide variety of weddings. I love photographing weddings at Stowe School and Ashridge House just as much as the smaller venues like this one. It keeps my job interesting the creative juices flowing!
