I love a family wedding and Michelle and Tom’s intimate ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Botolph Claydon was perfect. I know this church well and it’s one of my favourites as beautiful light cascades through an upper window directly above the bride and groom.
After the ceremony, we made our way to The Five Arrows Hotel in Waddesdon for the reception in the Old Coach House. This is a beautiful venue and the high timber trussed roof and large bright windows throws flattering light all around the room. Michelle’s choice of flowers from Willow and Thyme suited the room perfectly. Jules and Mel had done an amazing job with the flowers (as always) and the room looked stunning.
Michelle was a beautiful bride and I absolutely adored her and her daughter’s matching flower crowns. I was able to capture some really cute pictures of the two of them getting ready and despite a bit of a chilly wind we also managed some lovely, natural ‘informal formal’ group pictures of Michelle and Tom with all their friends and family, as well as some romantic portraits of Michelle and Tom.
Photographing a wedding at The Coach House in Waddesdon was a dream and it’s a wonderful venue for a relaxed, family wedding.
